Flipping The Bird: Protected Free Speech?

PITTSBURGH -- A Pennsylvania motorist is going to federal court to protect a very specific part of what he claims are his free speech rights: the right to show his middle finger.
Thomas Burns of New Castle, Pa., was cited for disorderly conduct last April after he became frustrated with a PennDOT traffic delay and he flipped his middle finger at a construction worker. The worker reported the gesture to a police officer in Beaver County, Pa., who cited Burns.
The citation was dropped in October when the officer and the offended construction worker failed to appear at a hearing Burns requested to fight the citation.
But now Burns is suing in federal court in Pittsburgh saying he never should have been cited in the first place and was maliciously prosecuted. He contends he was denied his First Amendment free speech rights.

More reason that the majority of those in power are useless and need to removed, forcibly.

PS3 Release date announced!

Just over 16 hours ago at a conference held in an undisclosed location in Japan, Ken Kuratagi finally let the cat out of the proverbial bag.

A world-wide release date for the new PS3 has been set for November 11th. Awesome...

In addition to the highly anticipated date, Ken told us about a few other juicy tidbits. Like the detachable hard drive for the device that's going to be a whopping 60GB in size.

(3 times larger than the Xbox360's)

Fuck what you have heard! The PS3 is going to be the hottest item to get this year!!!

SOME PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED NEAR A COMPUTER

The title explains it all, and I had to copy it from Alex's blog entry at Sunbelt. The original story is found at LATimes. This is precisely why we keep alerting our subscribers at the FLIPBOARD to the dangers of email phishing, spam, etc. Its quite unfortunate that a well educated and esteemed professional falls for such traps. But wait a minute, the dumb-ass old fuck was 79 years old when the bullshit started! Read between the lines, people! Why was he allowed on the Internet in the first place?

This is what happens when old people are not managed and watched intently. They should not drive, use technology or be allowed outside with out personalized care and persistent supervision. I don't give a fuck how "smart" he/she supposedly is.
